Creating a Mission

Post by Aero Dynamic on Mon May 14, 2018 7:37 am

So you're interested in creating a mission, eh? Well, you're in luck! This topic will explain all you need to know about creating a mission for others to go on.

Anyone is able to create a mission, and to make creating missions more enticing, every mission you create will give you $500. This can only happen 5 times a week, meaning you can only get $2,500 a week if you create 5 missions. You can create more than 5 a week, but you will not receive the pay for it. But wait, there's more. If your mission is taken on by someone, then once it is finished you will receive another $500. So, in theory, you could earn up to $5,000 a week.
If the mission is created for yourself, or your own guild, no money except for the end reward will be received for making it.

After your mission is accepted, the staff will assign it a reward amount. In the details, you may add any other objects that they may accumulate, like a weapon or an animal. In the mission, the characters will have to decide how to split up the bounty. Regardless, everyone will get at least $100 for doing the mission.

Title your topic with the name of your mission and put [Needs Approval] at the end to let a staff member know to review it. Use the template below to begin to create your mission!

Name: (The name of the mission)
Type: (What type of mission is it? Can anyone join or only a certain guild?)
Difficulty: (How easy or hard is the mission?)
User limit: (What's the minimum and maximum number of people that can go on this mission?)
Location: (Where will this mission take place?)
Details: (What will they be doing? Who might they encounter? What's the minimum amount of posts?)

Give your mission a name. Doesn't have to be anything complicated.
User Limit
How many people can go on the mission. Minimum number is 1.
Open/Closed - Is the mission open to anyone who applies or closed to certain members/guild(s)? If closed, for whom?
Self/Creator Directed - Will the people rping it direct all of the aspects involved (Self) or will you, the creator, manage the people within the mission (Creator)?
Is this a rescue mission, a retrieval, robbery, ect.
Difficulty: - How hard the mission will be.
Easy - The mission requires little effort to complete and is easy money.
Medium - Some skill is involved, but it could be worse.
Hard - It might be best to let the more experienced take these on.
Insane - Your actions could have dire consequences. Be careful with what you do and how you do it.
Location - Where the mission will happen. Specify which country.
Details - Anything else someone needs to know about the mission? What's the goal, who or what will they be encountering, what does the place look like? What are the possible rewards? (Cash amounts may be suggested, but may not be exact in the end) How many posts must they at least have to complete it? If the mission is self directed, put what they need to know in order to properly rp it. If creator directed, you can put everything or just what the character would see ICly.
