    Troy, the prehistoric shapeshifter.

Post by Troy on Sun Jun 19, 2016 12:13 am

    -----------------------
    Personal Info:
    -----------------------
    Name: Troy Neumann.
    Nickname: Dabasaur, and Weebosaur.
    Age: 17 years old.
    Gender: Male.
    Sexuality: Straight.
    Species: Shapeshifter.
    Alignment: True Neutral.
    -----------------------
    Appearance:
    -----------------------
Height: While his natural height is 5'10 feet tall, his size can vary greatly depending on the form he is in. See more info in special abilities.
Skin/Fur/Scales, Etc.: His skin color is farmers tan, meaning he can be tan in some more exposed places on his body, but be white in more covered areas. His arms and legs are tanned, but, his feet, and body is white. He also has some hair on his body, which is normal. However, in other forms, he could have things from scales, fur, feathers, or bare skin.
Eyes: His eyes are a dark brown. However, the color can change from yellow to red, and the shape of the pupil varies. Could be round, or slitted.
Hair: His hair is a very dark brown, almost pacing off as a black, but, not quite. In other forms, he either loses his hair, or his hair becomes a different color to fit the color of the form.
Looks: Troy looks to be a German mix, being pretty tall, but usually likes to hunch over slightly, since he feels it is more comfortable for him to stand like this. Off and on, he could have acne, maybe some scabs or scratches here and there on his face,  as well has some light facial hair, which he usually shaves. He has a army camo colored hoodie with a rhino insignia on the chest, as well as white shoes with black highlights and soles, dark jeans, and black shots. He also is sometimes seen with a selection of beanies, but the most notable of all is the Black Majin Buu one. He also sometimes wears a Toy Story Pizza planet cap. It should be noted that he has a couple of scaring on his  body, notably on his left ring finger, lip, and a faint one on his kneecap.
However, in his other forms, his looks can greatly differ from one another, so, it's a little bit like a surprise in what he is going to turn into. On a funny note, every time he shapeshifts, his clothing seems to disappear, and when he goes back to being human, it reappears. Many people asked this, even himself, but, it's best not to question it. It's either some magical, or, science... or both, even. Hey, at least he does not have to worry about ripping his clothing with his larger forms at least, right?
    ---------------------
    Specialties
    ---------------------
Strengths/skills: Troy is a rather intelligent person, having a vast knowledge about certain things, mostly about animals and biology, stuff like evolution and what not. He is also a fast typer on a keyboard, but, tends to not look at the screen when doing so, which usually ends up in some special mistakes, where he fixes with the good old * trick. He is also somewhat physically strong, but, usually doesn't like to fight unless he really has to... or, if somebody pisses him off. He usually relies of his more offensive forms to do the fighting.

    Weaknesses/Flaws:

    Human weaknesses.

-Temper: While he is usually good at handling his temper, more than one occasion does he let his anger get ahold of him, in which he would try to get apeshit on a person. This could damage friendships, get him in trouble, or even worse.

-Fowl language: He has some really nasty sailor mouth, which can make him seem very unappealing with his vocabulary.

-Human durability and strength: Without his forms, he is simply just a normal teen, meaning he can be easily dealt with by the more stronger people. It should be noted however that in human form, he likes to fight dirty, and will try to do anything, may it be throwing rocks in the face, use a form of weapon, or just do the good old dirt in the eyes trick.

-Protective nature: He is overprotective by a lot of certain things that mean something in his life, like his family, friends, and even his pets. This can be exploited, one way or another.

    Form weaknesses.

    -Lepusaurus weakness:
Being very small, and physically unimposing, as well as having stubby legs, this form isn't meant for any form of combat against anything bigger than him. Besides having tusks, and strong front digging claws, this form is about as scary as a rabbit.

    -Oculusoptryx weakness:
He isn't really durable in this form, having a lightweight bone structure means that he can't take too many hits. He also can't fly while it is raining, since it causes too much drag when his fuzz gets wet. His wings are targetable, but they aren't that easily ripped by bare hands.

    -Capresaurus weakness:
He doesn't have many offensive ways of defending himself in this form, other than his thumb claws and tail, meaning he can be easily be taken out if a person can catch it.

    -Pigrasuchus weakness:
He is very slow and sluggish on land in this form, having small limbs that can only drag itself on it's belly. He can't be away from the water for too long, as his skin dries without moisture.

    -Ferrumtendoraptor weakness:
With a special hormone that makes a Ferrumtendoraptor more aggressive, and with his added natural temper, it will make him not think straight, and will think more based on instincts rather than sentient reason.

    -Vilisaurus weakness:
This form should be only be used at night, or very dark places, as he goes completely blind to bright lights, which irritates, eyes and even causes temporarily blindness to him.

    -Anguisaurus weakness:
This form should only be used for large bodies of salt water, as it can't survive for long in fresh water, restricting this form's use to oceans and seas. He also awkwardly drags himself on land like a seal, meaning he can't really go that fast... or that gracefully.

    -Lacusaurus weakness:
He isn't very agile in this form, nor very fast too, only being able to make short bursts of speed while charging, similar to an elephant. His exposed sides aren't as armored as other parts of his body, so it is very easy to get to it... if you can get pass the spikes that it. He also gets tired after a while since this is a larger form, meaning he has a limited time for it, about 5 posts.

    -M. rex weakness:
With enough force, be can easily be toppled over if hit in the legs, meaning he will have a long time getting back up since he has very small arms proportioned to his body. Speaking of his arms, he can't use them for combat, being too small for such a task. While he has a incredibly strong bite force, he can't open his jaws at all if something is holding them in place, or if something strong is tied around his snout. He also gets tried after a while since this is a larger form, meaning he has a limited time for it, about 5 posts.

    -Quatturoceratops weakness:
This form is near sighted, so he has to rely on smell and hearing instead of relying on his sight, meaning he can charge at anything he thinks is a threat, friend or foe. The back of the neck is also less armored, so that is a chink in his armor. He also gets tired after a while since this is a larger form, meaning he has a limited time for it, about 5 posts.

Special Abilities: Troy is able to shapeshift into ten forms, all of which are creatures not found in the fossil records, but are descendants from animals now extinct.

    Lepusaurus form.
    Common name: Lepusaurus.
    Latin name: Lepusaurus nocivi.
    Meaning: Burrowing hare lizard.
    Length: 20 inches.
    Weight: 5.4 lbs.
    Height: 16 inches.
    Family: Pylaecephalidae.
The rabbit-like Lepusaurus was a small, skittish dicynodont that lived in the open lowlands and grasslands of it's habitat. Because of their small size, they decided to adopt a Meerkat like lifestyle, going to the surface to forage for food while others kept a watchful eye for danger. They look almost identical to their prehistoric relatives, having a long tail which is used to support themselves to go onto their hind legs, not for walking, but for getting a better few to look out for possible dangers. If a sentry were to see a predator, they would release a warning bark that sends all members of their clan underground. While they have small front legs, they are stocky, and are armed with sharp digging claws that can be used for defense against animals similar to it's size.

While their front legs are used for the digging, their back legs are used for pushing dirt up onto the surface. Multiple members are used in this process to speed up production, similar to a Naked Mole-rat. Their diet however most consists of grasses, shoots, leaves, and berries. Both sexes are nearly identical, the males only having longer tusks than the females.

They live in a hierarchy life style, with only one breeding pair acting as their leaders. Any and all pups not from this single breeding pair would be killed, so females usually tend to leave the clan when they become pregnant with the one who impregnated them in the first place as their new mate, starting a clan of their own. It should be noted that clans that do not share any family relations are considered enemies, while clans that do are neutral towards each other. For coloration, most of their body is a light grey, but their torso is a pale white.

    Oculusoptryx form.
    Common name: Oculusoptryx.
    Latin name: Oculusoptryx donrostro.
    Meaning: Toothy beak eye wings.
    Wingspan: 30 ft.
    Length: 13.1234 ft.
    Weight: 200 lbs.
    Height: 8 ft.
    Family: Pterodactyloidae.
Lord of the skies over it's habitat was the pterosaur known as Oculusoptryx. In appearance, they look similar to the Peranodon of the Cretaceous period, but their teeth is a dead giveaway to their true ancestry, being a descendant of Pterodactyloids. A difference between them and prehistoric pterodactyloids was the shape of their crests, while Pteranodon like, has a flat shape, almost axe like tip at the end. Their stench is horrendous, as they smell of rotting meat and blood, as they primarily scavenged off of meals that they have bullied off of smaller predators. They have good eyesight and sense of smell to detect dying or injured prey as well, and are excellent fliers for aerial combat and quick getaways from larger carnivores, like M. rexes, Bellatovenators, or Suchosaurus'. Despite their size, they are quite maneuverable, able to tip and roll in the air of one another or winged prey.

They made their homes on vast cliffs on the uplands, overlooking the lowlands. The floor under the cliffs reeks of feces, which smelt pungent to the nose, and if in sufficient quantities, can induce watering eyes, burning nostrils, and possible gagging to other species, which kept them safe for the most part. They constantly bickered with one another, voraciously snapping their toothed beaks at each other, but, tolerated each other enough to not shed blood. They mated for life, the male doing a show with his wings, the brighter the wings, the more fertile and healthy the male was, and shared turns keeping the eggs safe and warm as well as hunting.

While they mostly scavenged, they do indeed hunt, hunting in groups and mobbing injured, weak, sick, or young prey with nasty bites and pecks until the animal collapses, in which they would eat as fast as possible before larger predators come, but, they will fight if similarly sized or smaller predators came. For coloration, their bodies are covered by a red fuzz, their wing membranes were orange, minus the two eye-like markings on their wings, which were yellow outlined with a dark red. Their beak and crest were yellow, but their crest had two red stripes on them. Male are larger than females, and had larger crests and bigger eye markings.

    Capreasaurus form.
    Common name: Capreasaurus.
    Latin name: Capreasaurus praefiguentmanibus.
    Meaning: Spike hands gazelle lizard.
    Length: 8 ft.
    Weight: 285 lbs.
    Height: 4.9 feet.
    Family: Iguanodontidae.
The Gazelle-like Capreasaurus was the smallest most delicate ornithopods in their habitat. They lived in the lowlands in small herds that rotated sentries for protection from predators, such as Velocivenators or Lupusaurus', with 4 or so guards keeping a lookout while the others feed upon low laying plants. For added protection, they sometimes hang around larger herbivores, and lived symbiotically by having them sound the alarms while the larger herbivores defended themselves, and by extension them. They differ greatly than their prehistoric ancestors, like Iguanadon, being much smaller and more nimble, but kept their traditional spiked thumbs for added defense.

They made their homes in the lowlands, in plant filled areas, that are also accompanied by a body of water, like a waterhole or river. A dominant male would lead the herd, locating feeding grounds as well as fending off mid-sized carnivores, but they mostly tend to run away from potential predators, being able to go up to 60 MPH to make quick getaways. They ate a array of plant life, from ferns to grasses, to even roots they sometimes dig up. They communicated with one another using low rumbles. Their eyes rested high on their eyes and faced sideways, their pupils horizontally to concentrate their vision on the horizon line.

While other males can breed, any offspring born from their will be considered lower to the alpha pair, but do have the chance to challenge the alpha male to take his mate and earn the right of becoming alpha himself. For coloration, they are mostly a light brown, minus their white underbelly, black stripe along their sides, black bumps on their backs, and a black tail tip. Males tended to be somewhat larger, and have the larger thumb spikes.

    Ferrumtendoraptor form.
    Common name: Ferrumtendoraptor.
    Latin name: Ferrumtendoraptor maletemperata.
Meaning: Ill tempered axe headed thief.
    Length: 12 ft.
    Weight: 400 lbs.
    Height: 6.4 ft.
    Family: Oviraptoridae.

    Pigrasuchus form.
    Common name: Pigrasuchus.
    Latin name: Pigrasuchus venena.
    Meaning: Poisonous sluggish crocodile.
    Length: 10 ft.
    Weight: 500 lbs.
    Height: 2 ft.
    Family: Labyrinthodontia.
The amphibian substitution of the crocodile, the Pigrasuchus' lineage dates back from even before the dinosaurs, when the world was covered in primordial swamps and ruled by colossal insects and amphibians. They prowled the stagnant pools and weed-glogged marshes of it's habitat's waterways, where murky water and floating skum helped mask their presence. They differ quite a lot compared to their prehistoric relatives, not as large as their ancestors, as well as having a dorsal fin that starts at their back to the beginning of their tail. However, the most different thing about them is their ability to produce a poison that secretes from their skin, similar to some modern Salamanders would. This makes them virtually untouchable to many predators that would try and eat them. Curiously, they lack this in their larval stage.

They are usually seen in and around swampy areas, where they replace the niche of ambush predator, which are usually occupied by Crocodilians. The Pigarasuchus tackles prey that, such as Capreasaurus', or even a low flying Oculusoptryx's. They hunt similarly to crocodiles, waiting at the water's edge before striking, pulling the prey down to a watery grave. When tackling flying prey, like the Oculusoptryx mentioned from before, they try and grab them by the legs before using their larger mass to try and pull them down. Also similar to Crocodilians, they preform a death roll to rip off chunks of meat from prey. When they are in larval stages, to be exact Tadpoles, they live and grow in nursery ponds, which are usually hidden among the many foliage that surround the place. Tadpoles look similar to the adults, but jack the signature dorsal fin, as well as limbs. During this stage, they feed upon plant matter and insects.

Males differ only in size to females, males being more robust, and having larger dorsal fins. To attract mates, they would gather at the surface of the water before producing gurgling croaks, where the females pick and chose who they will mate with. The paired couple would then find a large patch of land covered in flora before digging out a space, where it would fill up with water, in which the female will deposit eggs where the male will fertilize them externally. They require water since without it, the eggs would dry and die. There, the female will leave, and the male will be put in charge to guard the eggs before they hatch, and even then, he will wait until they are large enough to fend for themselves. For coloration, they had a black top, the dorsal fin having a streak of yellow in the middle. The tip of their tail is orange, along with their limbs, and their underside was yellow. And interesting note about how they sometimes defend themselves, they will arch their back to reveal their underside, which clearly signifies that it was a very poisonous animal that shouldn't be messed with. The toxin's symptoms include irritation to the skin, possibly swelling, and even temporary heat flares when touched with bare skin. When consumed, which happens rarely, it will cause certain death to the animal that decided to eat it, or take a bite out of it. If swallowed whole, and not chewed to bits, they Pigrasuchus would crawl out of the mouth.

    Vilisaurus form.
    Common name: Vilisaurus.
    Latin name: Vilisaurus immanis.
    Meaning: Monstrous vile lizard.
    Length: 10 ft.
    Weight: 800 lbs.
    Height: 6.2 ft.
    Family: Herrerasauridae.
The unchallenged master of the caves and night of it's habitat was the Vilisaurus. A large Herrerasaur, a more ancient species of theropod dinosaur, was a ambush predator that hunted in pairs. It's skeletal structure was more advanced than it's Triassic ancestors, having larger feet with an enlarged middle claw to help cope with the uneven terrain in caves and jungles that was more precarious, and thinner ribs and hips, giving it a almost serpentine-like movement which helped it slipped through smaller openings in the caves and tighter jungle. They also have curved skull growths behind their heads, looking somewhat devilish. They were given the nickname of "child snatcher", as it commonly took hatching's from theirs nest to consume them live, but their more horrific hunting strategies is with adult game, where they aim for the throat to rip it out using their enlarged teeth, making the prey item bleed to death. They mostly targeted small to mid-sized hadrosaurs when doing this.

They primarily lived in caves during daylight, but came out when the sunsets, where they mostly are found in the jungles and lowlands. They usually travel in mated pairs, but have been known to travel in unorganized pseudo packs when attempting to hunt down prey a little bit out of their weight class. Males had larger skull growths than females, as well as having the larger middle toe claw. Males would often bring living small prey to a female, usually a baby dinosaur, lizard, or small mammal, and have her decide if she would eat it. Females tended to chose the males who have brought them the rarer live prey, so a male who brought a M. rex chick would get chosen while a male with a simple lizard or rodent wouldn't. Besides living animals, the would also seek out rocks and pebbles that had an interesting shape.

They have a deep black coloration to their skin, with faint stripes all along their bodies, but their most distinctive color is not their bodies, but their eyes. Their eyes are a glowing light red hue, which already adds to their already demonic-like appearance. To add to their already fiendish nature is that they often lay their eggs in barely alive prey item's stomach cavities, which hatched quicker than other Theropods.

    Anguisaurus form.
    Common name: Anguisaurus.
    Latin name: Anguisaurus marevenator.
    Meaning: Sea hunting snake lizard.
    Length: 36 ft.
    Weight: 4 tons.
Height: Varies. Could be 15 ft. tall with it's neck held high above the water.
    Family: Plesiosauridae.

    Lacusaurus form.
    Common name: Lacusaurus.
    Latin name: Lacusaurus gigasicati.
    Meaning: Giant spiked tank lizard.
    Length: 40 ft.
    Weight 13 tons.
    Height: 16 ft.
    Family: Stegosauridae.

    M. rex form.
    Common name: M. rex.
    Latin name: Maximusaurus rex.
    Meaning: Grand lizard king
    Length: 65 ft.
    Weight 20 tons.
    Height: 30 ft.
    Family: Tyranosauridae.
One of the largest predators the world has ever known was the Maximusaurus rex. Like their prehistoric Tyranosaur relations, the modern M. rexes had little competition for their spot as top predators in their habitat. Despite the huge size, the could turn on a suprising burst of speed for short periods, clocking up to 25 mph for limited stretches in pursuit of prey. They has developed many unique qualities that differ than their prehistoric brethren, such has spiked brows, a stockier build, intensely reinforced shorter skulls, as well as their far larger size. It is unknown why they have evolved to such a large, but the most likely theory is that they had to compete with prey getting larger, more armored, and more aggressive.

Males are larger and far bulkier than females, having more interesting colors on contrast of the females. While both sexes hunted, the male would usually stay in the territory, protecting either it's eggs or young from predators. They mate for life, the males winning the affections of the female via bringing them a gift in the form of a kill, in which it would perform a mating dance, in which it would bob it's head while stomping, making low rumbling sounds while stomping. More desperate, feeble males will try to do more spectacular dances via collecting items to add to the effect, but is ultimately fruitless since the female intern will get turned off my the show and become aggressive, trying to drive the weak male away by snapping her jaws at them and letting out loud territorial roars at them.

They hunt a multitude of animals, such as hadrosaurs, ceratopsians, and even some species of sauropods. Their usual hunting methods, if a hadrosaur, would be to run after them before knocking them down with a swing of their head before delivering a fatal bite to the head. If a ceratopsian, they will try to do a more sneaky approach, trying to go for the horned dinosaur's unprotected back legs. If this fails, both animals will start combting where anything can go. If a sauropod, they will do a mixture of the previous two, trying to knock the long necked dinosaur down before trying to get in some bites to the more vital areas. While their arms might be small, they can easily bench up to 2000 pounds, and are used for pinning prey to their chests to prevent swinging. However, their most impressive feat is their jaws, being able to bite with the force of 35,000 PSI, being able to cleanly bite through solid steel like wet paper. In terms of color, they have dark brown skin, with a light brown feathery coat that, with a light grey coloring for the back. Their spiked brows are also dark brown, along with the smaller spikes on their throat pouches. Their feathery coat extends from the start of their head to the middle of their tail, covering their arms as well as covering part of their legs.

    Quattuoroceratops form.
    Common name: Quatturoceratops.
    Latin name: Quatturoceratops elitbellator.
Meaning: Intimidating warrior four horned face.
    Length: 45 ft.
    Weight 25 tons.
    Height: 22 ft.
    Family: Chasmosauridae.
Among the most impressive herbivores in it's habitat were the Quatturoceratops. Heavily built grazers with massive shoulders and enormous frills of bone and spine, these powerful herbivores were dangerous pry for carnivores. The feed upon low shrubbery, and used their horns to uproot trees to get the leafs and fruit from the top, even making short work to the woody stems and thorns with their hard beaks. The followed sauropod herds, as they cleared out jungles for grasslands to form. Herds could number up to 20 individuals, with one alpha male, and the females with their young. Herds claimed small territories where eggs were laid, giving them time to develop in safety. Young immediately joined the herd upon hatching and gained the protection of the group.

When threatened, the herd instinctively closed around the young, presenting a ring of horns and frills while the dominant male would rush forward to challenge the intruder. Even the biggest and hungriest of predators would think twice about tackling an enraged Quatturoceratops. Certainly a threat to would-be predators, the head armament of a Quatturoceratops was primarily used in dominance fights between adult males contesting for lordship over their small herds of females and young. Males grey larger and bulkier than females, and had a far more impressive frill and set of horns, said horns being 12 feet long. They collected small harems and guarded them jealously, similar to a Elephant seal. Fights between males happened frequently. Young bucks congregated in bachelor herds, honing their sparring skills with playful bouts until they are strong enough to challenge for their own small harems.

Their coloration was a light grown through their bodies, covering much of the sides and legs, as well as having the sides of their head and middle of their frills brown. Their beaks were a light grey, and their face beside the brown streak were black, as well as having their backs black. Their underbellies were a dark yellow.

Personality: Troy is a person that has a off and on personality. Sometimes, he could be quiet, and have a softer voice, while other times, he is more outgoing and has a louder voice. He has selective hearing too, meaning he will be listening in onto conversations, only butting in when it concerns him, or when it gets interesting. He is also a bit lazy, often times taking the easy route, but isn't afraid to do more work if he needs to. However, it should be noted that he gets easily frustrated, may it be with something not working, a annoying person, or a person talking shit on him, so, he kinda has a short fuse. He also likes everything to be in order, making sure everything he has is perfect, or else his mind is going to nag to him to make it right. He also likes correcting people on facts, so, he's a bit of a smartass.

History: 16 years ago, a boy named Troy was born, and had a normal life until he turned 13, where he shapeshifted for the first time, basically ruining his birthday party. Later on, it was revealed that Troy had a special kind of gene dating back to medieval times, a gene that seemed to be artificial, and placed into the family's bloodline maybe through a magical, or more likely technological way. Possibly via mixing parts of different animals, and placing it into the genetic code. Troy still does he typical activities; wake up, go to school, do homework, get on his computer, but now has the ability to shapeshift into ten different species of animals.

He refuses to be part of any wolf pack, because he probably doesn’t want to associate himself with any other werewolves because he literally denies the fact that he’s a werewolf. But everyone knows. And has outrightly stated it many times. But his werewolf form is so cool, why doesn’t he like it? Everyone just chalks it up to him being stupid or something, and he’s very stupid when it doesn’t involve anything to do with like, technology or academics. He’s also very very passive aggressive for whatever reason, and antisocial. He’s so antisocial that it gets him into very bad positions, and it’s stupid. He seems to excel at pissing Yuuki off.

The amount of fun I am going to have is the amount of fun I had while watching Finding Dory.

Welcome to Hell my child, prepare yourself for tons of innuendoes, pop culture references, dank ass memes, champagne, cocaine, gasoline, and most things in between.

Heya Troy, I just have a few things that I'm going to need you to fix up a little.

    In the strengths/skills section... You kinda haven't put anything in there. It literally says;
@Troy wrote:Strengths/skills: (What are they good at?)

I'm going to need you to just add a few things in there, just what he's good at doing and his strengths (even do it for when he is in human form if that is the easiest thing for you to do).

I would also like a little clarification, can he swap between species repeatedly, and how often can he transform? Just add that to where you are explaining how he can become the Dodo Rex for the 10 minutes.

Bump when you have edited it x3
